RESERVE YOUR FREE SPOTWho Supports the People Who Support Everyone Else?
As therapists, we spend our days creating space for other people—their pain, fears, relationships, uncertainty, and struggles.
We listen. We stay present. We help people make sense of what they're experiencing.
But in the process of taking care of so many people, how often do we have a space to explore what is happening within us?
This free experience was created specifically for therapists—a place where you don't have to be the expert, have the answer, or take care of anyone else.
During our time together, you'll have an opportunity to:
→ Connect with yourself and what you're actually experiencing
→ Connect with other therapists who understand the realities of this work
→ Experience support instead of always being the one providing it
Because being connected to ourselves is just as important as taking care of our clients.

What Happens When the Therapist Gets to Be the One Being Supported?
Most of our professional lives are spent listening, observing, understanding, and being present for someone else.
In this experience, we're going to turn some of that attention toward ourselves.
JF has created a group dynamic specifically for therapists—a space where we can slow down, connect with what we're experiencing, and be with other professionals who understand what it means to do this work.
You don't need to teach, diagnose, fix, advise, or have the answer. You simply get to show up as yourself.
During the experience, you'll have an opportunity to:
→ Slow down and check in with yourself
Notice what you're carrying—not as something to analyze or fix, but as something worthy of your attention.
→ Be real with other therapists
Share what feels meaningful in a space with professionals who understand the unique demands of this work.
→ Practice connection without fixing
Experience what happens when we listen to one another without immediately analyzing, advising, or trying to change anything.
And Something Begins to Change in the Therapy Room
When we become more comfortable being present with our own emotional experience, we become more capable of staying present with someone else's.
A connection-first way of being can naturally influence how you sit with clients—especially amid uncertainty, emotional intensity, or vulnerability.
You experience the work for yourself first. Then you begin to see how it can change the way you work with others.
What You Naturally Begin to Practice Through Connection
This isn't a skills training in the traditional sense. By experiencing connection for yourself, you naturally begin practicing ways of being that can deepen both your relationship with yourself and your presence with clients.
Skills You Experience From the Inside Out
- Pause the automatic story
Learn to notice the narratives, interpretations, and conditioned thoughts that can pull you away from what's actually happening in the moment.
-
Listen to the emotional experience underneath
Become more comfortable noticing and staying with emotion rather than immediately analyzing, explaining, or changing it. -
Reconnect with your own inner sense of worth
Experience what happens when your value isn't dependent on performing, having the answer, or getting the outcome right. -
Express what's real in ways that create connection
Practice sharing your experience honestly without blame, defensiveness, or the need to fix someone else's experience.
And Those Same Capacities Come Into the Therapy Room
Because you're experiencing these principles rather than simply learning about them, they can begin to influence how you work with clients.
Benefits:
→ Hold less responsibility for client outcomes
Stay deeply engaged without feeling that you have to make change happen for the client.
→ Move beyond surface emotion and repetitive stories
Become more comfortable helping clients notice the deeper emotional experience beneath the narrative.
→ Develop deeper emotional attunement
Stay present with what a client is feeling without immediately interpreting, redirecting, or trying to reduce the emotion.
→ Create greater relational safety
Experience how presence, curiosity, and non-judgment can strengthen trust and make authentic emotional connection more possible.
The skills aren't separate from the connection. They grow out of it.

“It was truly a pleasure to be part of your Avive la Vie therapist support group. I appreciated how JF modeled reaching deep emotions and making connections. I have given 7 Avive la Vie books to various clients and initiated connection-based work through the individuals featured in the book. I would highly recommend clinicians to work with JF in a support group, as it has enhanced my work supporting my clients.”
